Dr. Manjula is a Director – Radiology at Handa Imaging Center which is well known diagnostic center in the heart of Delhi. And she is specialist in Obstetric Imaging, Gynae and Breast Imaging. After, completed her M.B.B.S from Lady Hardinge Medical College & Hospital, Delhi. Then further study in post graduation in Radiology, she went to Howard University Hospital Washington. Due to passion and interest in Women Health Imaging, she routed to complete the Fellowship in Breast Imaging and Ultrasound from Georgetown University and Hospital. In addition, she wrote a book on Breast Imaging. And she is also, a Ex-President of Delhi chapter IFUMB (Indian Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology) and currently an Executive member. In addition, she conducted 100+ Workshops and Webinars on various National and International. And also, she is Certified in Radiology by Diplomat American Board of Radiology.
Obstetric Ultrasound: It uses sound waves to produce pictures of a baby (embryo or fetus) within the mother’s uterus and ovaries. Due to, not releasing ionizing radiation and no harmful effects, this method is preferred for monitoring pregnant women and their unborn babies.
Radiology: They help in diagnosing and treating injuries and diseases using medical radiology procedures. Likewise, X-rays, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography (PET), and ultrasound.
Ultrasound: Doctors moreover use ultrasound to examine a developing fetus (unborn baby), a person’s abdominal and pelvic organs, muscles and tendons, or their heart and blood vessels.
